Members receive 250,000 francs if they sustain a spinal cord injury in an accident and end up in a wheelchair permanently. Payment is made rapidly, without red tape, and irrespective of insurance benefits, where the accident happens and where treatment takes place.
Your membership also enables you to show your solidarity with people with a spinal cord injury. Thanks to your membership, the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation can use its globally unique network of services to support people with a spinal cord injury – for the rest of their lives.

As a member of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation Benefactors' Association, you'll receive a one-time payment of CHF 250 000 if you are involved in an accident that results in a spinal cord injury and permanent dependence upon a wheelchair. This payment is made wherever you are in the world, independent of insurance benefits and the place of your accident and treatment.
